What does your art bring to you?
A sense of clarity and purpose in my infinite quest in the search of some kind of ultimate answer or truth as I try to understand, rethink and redefine in my own terms the essence of life itself by going through the very process of this journey . It is a reflection of my own becoming.
What artwork would you like to see in real life?
Not necessarily an artwork but one thing that comes to mind is a place called the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors (COsM) which is an interfaith temple that celebrates creativity as a spiritual path, definitely my kind of place to be.
What are your inspirations?
Inspiration comes from trying to have a better understanding of the world surrounding me, the ‘why’ and the ‘how’. The tendency to question everything always makes me want to look further, but once you go down that path, you quickly realise that the rabbit hole goes even deeper, it can be never ending but it’s all about getting lost and finding yourself over and over again. However, once you realise there’s a whole universe within yourself, everything starts to fall into place and makes more sense…Wonderland, they say. Once you’ve reached that ‘light’, this is where creation begins.
What are your dreams?
I’m currently living part of it and I’m very grateful. Come on life, surprise me!
What is your favorite quote?
“Always Create / Never Disintegrate”.
I may have made this up or maybe heard it from somewhere, but I live by it.
